Life Transition Coaching for Women

For women standing at the start of the next chapter

Divorce, an empty nest, a career change, a loss. The old map stopped working and the new one has not arrived yet. This is the work of the in between.

What is life transition coaching for women?

Life transition coaching for women is support for the stretch between an ending and whatever comes next, after a divorce, an empty nest, a career change, a move, a retirement, or a loss. It works on who you are becoming, not on fixing your circumstances for you.

The program starts with two free sessions and is shaped around you. It is online, so it fits around a life that is already in flux.

The Work Itself

What a life transition coach for women actually does

A life transition coach for women walks with you through the in between. Not the crisis, and not the settled part later, but the middle stretch where your old answers stopped fitting and the new ones have not arrived. I am a nurse with more than 25 years behind me, so the work stays steady and practical.

Here is what makes Restore & Rise different. This is not coaching about your body. It is coaching about who you are. Together you will look at identity, confidence, emotional resilience, and direction, because a transition shakes those loose first.

I will not hand you a plan for your life. You build one, out loud, with someone paying close attention. For the wider picture, start with coaching for women and then come back here.

Who Am I Now

The question almost nobody says out loud

It rarely arrives loudly. It shows up in the car, at the sink, or after everyone else has gone to bed.

The role ended before the answer arrived

Wife, mother of a full house, employee, caregiver. Those roles told you where to be and what mattered. When one ends, the calendar clears long before your sense of self catches up. Most women who call a life transition coach for women are sitting in that gap.

Starting over is not the same as going backward

Starting over gets treated like failure, especially by women who expected to be settled by now. It is not. You carry every year of what you learned into whatever comes next, which is nothing like beginning at zero.

Redefinition needs room and honest company

Friends and family love you, so they rush to reassure you. That kindness quietly closes the conversation. Coaching gives you a room where nothing has to be tidy yet, and where hard questions get asked gently.

Seasons

Transitions women bring here

Women reach a life transition coach for women from very different doorways. The details differ, and the underlying work rhymes.

After divorce

The paperwork finishes and everyone assumes you are through it. Coaching for women after divorce starts where the sympathy cards stop.

An empty nest

The house gets quiet in a way nobody warns you about. Empty nest coaching helps you meet the woman underneath twenty years of packed lunches.

Midlife

Nothing is wrong, exactly. You notice the years ahead are finite and you want them to count. Midlife coaching for women turns that restlessness into direction.

A career change

A layoff, a resignation, or a promotion that changed everything. When work carried your identity, what comes next is bigger than a job title.

Retirement or a move

New town, new pace, no built in structure. Once the routine that held your days disappears, you decide what fills them.

Grief and loss

Losing a parent, a partner, or a future you counted on changes ordinary days. Coaching is not grief therapy, and it can help you find footing alongside it.

Not sure this is the right fit? Compare it with burnout coaching for moms or Christian life coaching for women.

Talk It Through With Me

Real transformation doesn't happen all at once. It happens one intentional step at a time.

The Method

Four movements, in order

A life transition coach for women needs a path, not a pep talk. Restore and Rise follows four movements, and you move through them at your own pace.

Movement One

Reveal

Reveal what has been hidden. Become aware of the thoughts, beliefs, habits, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck. Honest reflection creates the foundation for lasting change.

Movement Two

Regulate

Regulate what has been overwhelming. Learn healthier ways to respond to emotions, stress, fear, and life's challenges with greater awareness and intention.

Movement Three

Restore

Restore what has been weakened. Reconnect with your confidence, identity, strengths, and God-given purpose while rebuilding trust in yourself.

Movement Four

Rise

Rise into who you were created to become. Move forward with clarity, confidence, and courage, as you begin living with purpose and intention each day.

Meet Trisha Guzman

Nurse and Coach, Founder of Restore & Rise

I spent more than 25 years as a nurse, which is a long time noticing what people carry and rarely mention. That is the attention I bring as a life transition coach for women. I was born and raised in Levelland, Texas, I have been married to Peter for 17 years, and I am mom to Devyn and Bella and grandmother to two grandchildren, Leonidas and Caelix.

Caring for people is not simply something I do well, it is my superpower. My purpose is to help women discover the strength, identity, and potential God has placed within them.

Questions

Common questions about life transition coaching

These are the questions women ask a life transition coach for women before they book. If yours is not here, ask it on the call.

What is life transition coaching for women?

Life transition coaching for women is one to one support for the stretch of time between an ending and whatever comes next. You work with a coach to look at what changed, what it cost you, and who you want to be on the other side of it. Sessions focus on identity, confidence, emotional resilience, and direction rather than on fixing your circumstances for you.

How is a life transition coach different from a therapist?

A therapist treats mental health conditions and often works backward through your history, while a coach works forward from where you are today. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. Many women see both at once, and I will happily work alongside a counselor you already trust. If something belongs in therapy, I will say so plainly.

Do I have to be in the middle of a big life change to start?

No. Some women come in the first raw weeks after something ends, and others come years later, once the dust settled and they realized they never rebuilt. Both are good starting points. If you feel unfamiliar to yourself, or you are quietly aware that you have been waiting for life to settle before you decide anything, there is plenty to work with.

Is this only for women in midlife?

Not at all. Midlife coaching for women is a common reason to reach out, but transitions arrive at every age. Women come after a divorce in their thirties, after the last child leaves in their fifties, after a career change, a move, a retirement, or a loss. What matters is the season you are in, not the number attached to it.

What happens on a consultation call?

You talk, and I listen. The call is a relaxed conversation about what changed, what feels stuck, and what you would like to be different a year from now. I will explain how the program works and answer anything you want to ask. There is no pressure to sign up on the call, and no script to get through.

How long does coaching usually last?

It takes as long as it needs to take. Plans are client specific, so we shape the pace around you once I understand what you are carrying. A transition rarely resolves in a fortnight, so we stay with it until the new shape of things holds.

Does faith have to be part of the sessions?

Only if you want it to be. Faith based encouragement and biblical integration are available upon request and tailored to your comfort level, so you set the tone. Plenty of women keep coaching entirely practical. If faith is central for you, I also offer Christian life coaching for women, which leans into it fully.

Do you meet in person or online?

Sessions happen online, so you can meet from anywhere in the United States. Between sessions you also have text coaching support, which helps when something comes up in the middle of a hard week. Every session is online, so where you live makes no difference to whether we can work together.

The Power of Conversation

Your first two sessions cost nothing

Nobody should hand over money to find out whether a coach is right for them. So everyone starts the same way, with two full sessions at no cost. If it fits, we carry on. If it does not, you have lost nothing and you will know more than when you started.

  • Session oneThe Power of Conversation I. You talk, I listen. What is happening, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different.
  • Session twoThe Power of Conversation II. We look at what came up, name what is keeping you stuck, and map what this work could actually change.
  • ThenYou decide. Continue into the coaching program, or stop here. No follow-up pressure either way.

Your Next Chapter

You do not have to figure this out alone

One conversation is enough to know whether working with a life transition coach for women is right for you. Bring the messy version. Nothing has to be sorted out first, and there is no pressure at the end of the call.
